BON VOYAGE

“Life can be wonderful if you're not afraid of it. All it takes is courage and imagination”
                                                                                                                                     -Charlie Chaplin
Our beautiful human mind although is beautiful but is innocent.
It has a habit of confusing things.
It confuses the perception with reality and cramming with learning.
And recent one I encountered was different paths of life with the globally accepted right and wrong methods. In life there is nothing such as the right or the wrong.
Talking about various situations there are no right situations, there are no wrong situations.
But there are “DIFFERENT SITUATIONS”.
Each situation is a different voice of life which can only be heard away from the chaos.
Each situation is a new rejuvenating view towards life.
Life is a journey and all that happens is neither right nor wrong all that is a different path to a remarkable milestone.
Consider passing out of the college with good marks.
It is accepted globally as “right” or the “correct” and desirable thing in life.
But talking about college dropouts like BILL GATES, MARK ZUCKERBERG, STEVE JOBS, the so called “right things” are left betrayed!
Even as these personalities didn’t took the “globally accepted right path” but are successful?
How?
The answer lies in the same notion that each path in life leads to a beautiful hidden journey full of adventure and new ordeals.
But this journey is avail only by those who can see beyond reality!
Life is like hidden doors in the darkness.
You don’t know which one you are going to knock!
You can’t even see most of them!
But each door is a new roller coaster ride of life.
There are indeed some “right and wrong doors” created by the most intelligent race yet, but the rest are not even known and will lead you to an incredible voyage.
The next time you are not qualifying for the ”globally accepted right doors”, just be patient,
fastened your seat belts and be ready for a whole new exciting Odyssey.
Keep knocking!
Keep unravelling!
BON VOYAGE!!

NAZAR UNKI BURI PARDA MAIN KARU??

NAZAR UNKI BURI PARDA MAIN KARU??

With rising rape cases everywhere in India,
this is a most common question that occurs in a girl/woman’s
mind while she’s in an empty parking lot
or in an empty room
or in a restroom
or ANYWHERE????
Because they are nowhere safe!!!

Rape is the only crime in which victim becomes the accused
                                                                                    - Freda Adler

The above lines seems so true when people blames a girl
in rape cases.
First of all of those who say girls should dress up correctly
answer me if a person or a group of persons had thought of rape in their mind
will a salwaar Kurta or a mini skirt makes a difference?
Absolutely no!!!
So why girls should be asked to dress right?
And right what?
Should we have a dress code for being raped??
“The girl with this dress code has more probability than the other with that dress code of being raped!!!”
Are we insane???
And can we guarantee “no rape condition” even if a girl is wearing a “burkha”?
Boys can dress what they want>>
why can’t girls????
In a situation, where boys can even walk in boxers on the road,
so don’t girls even deserve a minimum freedom of wearing what they want??

Blaming girls for rape cases is like
a non vegetarian blaming the chicken on his plate
for being so convincing to eat that he had to eat it!!!!!!

And blaming makes the things worse
trying to understand the mindset of girl
the girl who is being raped is recovering from a trauma
and we are blaming her
when we should be supporting her!!!!
 And what happens????
Girl goes home
crying for the things she is not even responsible even a bit
feels the worse of a helpless fellow,
taking back an instance that will pinch her whole life,
Being transformed into someone who can never be reverted back,
Being converted into someone who will now always be afraid of the dark and loneliness????
And loses her identity, loses herself!!!!!

And next what......
She lodges F.I.R
which will catch the convict “IF SHE’S LUCKY”
but does catching the convict revert back the things for her
will it give her the same life she lived before?

It’s not just about stopping guys from doing so
it’s about giving girls their sense of FREEDOM!!
A sense of NORMAL LIFE!!
A sense of SECURITY!!!
A sense of RESPECT!!

Kisi Rote Hue Bachhe Ko Hasaya Jaaye

“MUJHE BHI PADHNA HAI.
AAP PADHAENGE MUJHE????”

Met slum children today
This was the question that kamli (an ordinary slum girl with extraordinary ambitions)
asked when we were discussing about teaching them.

A question that may mean a million things to her!
A question that can bring change in her life!
A question that can return her her childhood that she didn’t even know is lost!
A question that can provide her some hope!
A question that can bring a Li’l sunshine in her ever been dark life!
A question that can make her believe that dreams exists!
A question that can make her believe life is beautiful!
A question that can bring the sparkle back in her eyes!
The question which transformed my just another Saturday night to a special Saturday night!

But more important and bigger question to me is
DO WE HAVE AN ANSWER TO THIS QUESTION?

Walking on the sands of time
when I trace the origin of the question
it pains inside!

The moment I stepped into their houses,
I stepped into their lives!

But wait a Sec,
did I just say houses?
Where are they?
I can’t find even one of them!
Or are you just talking about those filthy, broken roofs, shabby structures?

We went with an initiative to provide them with elementary education!
So good sounding na!
No!
When you step into the reality, there ain’t a thing which is good!
The only thing they have is the harsh realities of life!

But as we all know life is not so easy.
Convincing their parents is not easy.
Why would they let go their free source of income to do some nuisance what the literate people call as education?
In which way according to them it is going to benefit them?
Do you wanna say, something like “it will make them a good human being”
or” it’ll help them in their future” or something like “they can lead a better life!”?

Then better be silent!
Because this is not just enough for them!

Why would they let go their present just because of 5 people talking fantasizing things about their future, which they can’t even imagine?
It takes a whole lot of courage and determination to realize all this!

And what if they didn’t realize?
Would we let it go???????

No we’ll not!
This is what we should always remember!

Promising them to teach may seem to be just another promise that will be lost in flurry of time to us.
But for them it’s not only words wrapped in beautiful dreams.
It means life to them
It’s a connecting medium between two worlds.
Their lives and our lives.
The life they lack and the life we have!

When those who have nothing are ready to take.
Why not then those who have plenty are ready to give??

We all are busy in thinking about tomorrow, about our future.
But what about those who don’t even have a tomorrow???????????????

Apna Gam Leke Kahi Aur Naa Jaya Jaye
Ghar Mein Bikhari Hui Cheezo Ko Sajaya Jaye

Jin Charago Ko Hawao Kaa Koi Khof Nahi
Un Charago Ko Hawao Se Bachaya Jaaye

Kis Titali Ko Naa Phoolo Se Udaya Jaaye

Ghar Se Masjid Hai Bohat Door Chalo Yu Kariye
Kisi Rote Hue Bachhe Ko Hasaya Jaaye

Apna Gum Leke Kahi Aur Naa Jaya Jaye
