I remember sitting in one of my boring classrooms, well of
course you all know they are always boring, and when speaking to some of my
classmates reminded of the time of 60's and 70's.....
No NO I never asked them for their grandpa's clock!!

I just asked what their dream was
and to my great surprise they said their dream was to become an engineer
and to my great surprise they said their dream was to become an engineer
Has somebody ever thought of something as a dream which you
can get as of free almost???????!!!!!!!!
That’s why it reminded me of 60's time when one out of
thousands could ever think of becoming an engineer. (Talking about India)
But talking of india's today conditions

Answer of my friend was just not as simple as it seems to be
The meaning goes deep inside...............................
Becoming an engineer was not his dream indeed when he was
already pursuing his b. Tech????Life,
Talking about India, as b. Tech is about four years, even if
you are in b. Tech and you don't even dream to be an engineer, after four years
you gotta be an engineer for sure!
A main reason as for me could be that he never thought of
something such as a dream
He had never taken this thing into consideration
Life is so simple!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This is the main cause of why engineering is losing its job
providing capability in India.

I just can't get it why we can't dream BIG/???
Why is it that we can't cross that level?

That will be fulfilled or not is not a point of concern.

nicely written and nicely expressed, as for the reason of reducing potential of engineering as an employment resource can be narrowed down to certain factors-
ReplyDeletea) lack of interest- not everyone in b.tech WANTS to be an engineer
b) lack of awareness- not a lot of people are aware of what being an engineer means, or in fact, whai science as a stream means. you take science in 11th, ur parents say to relatives- bete ne sci. li hai. rel- accha! iit karoge beta? first of all someone pls go and tell these fellows that IIT IS NOT GOD, IS NOT A DEGREE, ITS JUST AN INSTITUTE, AND THE STANDARD OF TEacHING IS THE SAME AS THAT OF ANY NORMAL COLLEGE.
c) quantity- iit is solely responsible for more and more students taking up science, more and more colleges to open, and all of them (at least most of them) have turned more into entrepreneurship ventures rather than quality educational institutions.
as for the dream part, when has anyone of us ever dared to dream and dream it to reality.... we lack passion and devotion, that's the bottom line. if everyone could pursue what they wished to.... each of us would be a legend.

ReplyDelete& if the standered of teaching is same as all other ins. thn JEE shouldn't b conducted by IIT & u kno more thn 4 laks candidate appears in ths exam.They treat ths exam as their GOD.
So IIT's k baare me kuch bhi bolne se pahle un 4 laks students k baare me sochna jo JEE dete hain....

IIT is not different but 'IITians' are ..in fact they reach a level we have never seen ..IIT gives you experiences which no other inst. can....imagine living with someone who's IQ is plus 140..it is only natural that you'll try to reach his level and in the process you'll realise your true potential..this is the funda of 'competition' and dis is the funda of IIT..
so please think twice before you point your finger towards IIT
and to anmol...
yaar i feel ki it is not just the system ..we are weak too...we all have a choice between what is right and what is easy and most of us choose the easy one...we get swept away with the crowd..i know i did :)..
bottom line is of you really want something you will end up achieving it..and if you didn't..it means you never 'really' wanted it in the first place ...so if you really dream for something no matter big or small ..never give up..fight for it..if u do so no system can stop you
